What makes our tea the best?

1  100% certified organic.  All teas and ingredients are sourced and selected based on our rigorous screening process that prioritises organic farming methods.   Better for the Farmer, better for you, better for the planet.

2  Here at Chai Collective, we have 20+ years (each) experience in the tea industry.  Together, that's almost 50 years of our heart & soul weaving tea magic into every cup!  We've travelled extensively to some of the world's most renowned tea producing regions, sat with tea masters and studied the art of tea.  Know that with us on your side, your tea is in very good hands.

3  We keep it real. Simple.  Chai Collective is a grass roots business based in the beautiful Northern Rivers, NSW Australia.  We (Matty & Lesley) are a couple of certified tea nuts with a passion for food, outdoor adventures, photography... and tea.  We make every decision, oversee every operation and work tirelessly to ensure you have the best experience.  We value your feedback greatly so let us know equally if you love it or if you don't.

4  Where your tea comes from matters to us.  We choose to support mostly small scale family run tea farms.  We can taste the love, care and dedication that is unique to these boutique tea gardens.  We often hear the tea farmers' referring to their tea plants as "their children".  We believe this reverence carries through to the finished product and makes the world of difference.

5   Our Matcha is small batch, certified organic, ceremonial grade and stone ground.  It doesn't get much better than that in the world of Matcha.  "The proof is in the pudding" and you can taste, smell & feel the difference.  Often we hear people say they don't like the flavour of Matcha, then they taste ours and their opinion changes to loving it.  Sadly, there are a lot of lesser quality Matcha teas on the market so it pays to do your research and keep trying until you find one that you love.
